After resigning from the Hybrid Cafe, our favourite and beloved pink cat mainly settled before trying different hobbies. For Naru, finding something to do was really hard. After working the ridiculous shifts at the cafe, she barely had time to herself! Naru tried sports but she just wasn’t having fun. Art caught her eye but her drawings were… cat scratches. It wasn’t until she tried to follow a tutorial on making Red Velvet cupcakes when she found her passion… baking!
Pastries, cakes, and more cakes!! Naru especially loved decorating the cakes. One of her favourites is a tray of cupcakes decorated as her friends! Lemon Theresas, Strawberry Rikas, bunches of Blueberry Akari’s, and more. As for the food itself, neighbours praised her for the great taste and variety in the cakes. Baking was something Naru was good at and enjoyed, and it seemed natural for her. Almost like it runs in the family… Maybe she should run a business? Overrun the food industry? Make billions and take over the world? No, she doesn’t seem interested in that path. Naru mainly baked for fun, and that’s how she liked it!
It wasn’t all perfect, however. With every bake, came an uncomfortable, empty feeling within her. Like there was something better to do. Something she was meant for. 2 years pass, and Naru is looking back at the cupcakes she made of her friends. Strong soldiers, brave leaders, righteous Guardians, adapted into sweet baked goods. Suddenly, she remembered a call received right after her resignation from the Hybrid Cafe. An offer that might fix that empty feeling and bring her to do what she was truly built for… After a long and deep thought, Naru picked up her phone and made the call. She wasn’t even sure if the number was active, or if the contact is still alive, but…
Her call was answered, and later, so was the offer.
